In June 2021, Gearin’ Up moved from Eckington to a larger location at 1811 Rhode Island Ave in Woodridge. In the new 3300 sq ft space, Gearin’ Up will continue to diversify the DC cycling industry by empowering youth through entry level job training and bicycle education.

On October 16 from 12-6PM, we are hosting the Grand Opening of our new location and would be honored if you and your family could join us for the festivities.

The fun will include:

^ La Buena Mexican grill food truck starting at 12 PM

^ Face painting (DMV Children’s Entertainment): 1-3 PM

^ Ribbon cutting: 2 PM

^ Professional portraits with your mode of transport (Photos by Roux): 2-4 PM

^ DJ Tunes by DJ Brew: 2-6 PM

^ Kids bike raffles throughout the day
